What kind of chair are you using?

I'm using a $50 FINGAL from Ikea, same place I bought my desk.

It was comfy for a few months but now I have to use a thin patio pillow to keep it comfy. The back part is fine and I like how low the arm rests are, but after watching a LinusTechTips vid about a Maxnomic Dominator and seeing all the bonus features and build quality, I kinda want to look into what else is available.
And of course, the first place I go to is the Computer sub-forum.

So what are you guys using? Did you pay hundreds for a super fancy chair or are you rocking some milk crates? Any suggestions for someone who would be willing to spend $200 CAD on a new chair?

I have a hard-plastic char that is semi-sculpted. It's reasonably comfortable, but I never actually sit "in" it, more like sit on my feet or on the edges or reverse. I have short sitting-attention-span.

    EDIT: Found a picture!

8 year old IKEA chair, with a few tears in the leather, broken seat adjustments and a little wobbly due to loose screws. It's worn out! Going to get a proper one next year.

Heh, mine is almost identical, bit bigger and padding on the armrests. Also from Ikea.

In front of your desk? o.O would've thought you leaned way too far back in those.

I use a folding hard plastic chair, molded. I have had 3-4 decent office style chairs with casters and many adjustments, but I have stuck with a folding plastic chair for many years now. They do wear out, but $18 every 2 years is pretty acceptable. I get the kind from Sam's Club.

I would like to find something similar to a waiting room chair made out of cloth and wood that can slide on carpet but haven't had any luck with that yet.

A rather old, discarded chair from a doctor's office. I'm serious.

    ... I really need a new chair.

I play on a 47" LG LED TV on a giant industrial foam filled bag. I use a nice wood "thing" with bean filled pads on the back that sits on my lap that I place my G700s mouse, Razor Nostromo and wireless keyboard on. After playing like this, you can never go back to gaming at a desk.

I used to sit on this until a few days ago:

It's a nice and comfy quality-chair. Cost around 150€ (like 180-200$?) when it was new. Chair is heavy as fawk (as in not made outta some cheap shit-metal).

But then this happened few days ago:

Oh well, at least it served me for a good 3 years or so :P

And luckily it seems I'm getting a new one for christmas!

I...need to try this. I have a 46" TV that I bought shortly after I grabbed my PS4 anticipating a lot of use, and my PS4...well, it's not getting much use at all, everything that's releasing I already have on Steam! Dynasty and Samurai Warriors have entertained me, I've probably played Resogun the most out of anything, but 2014 has been a boring year for PS4 imo. I currently use the TV as a second monitor when I'm in bed to watch YouTube stuff on, and I'll do my Garrison stuff on it in the morning before work. Never thought about grabbing a good keyboard and mouse and playing on my futon, I'll try it out when I go home.

That beanbag chair though, I bet it's amazing. Very cool setup!

lol after reading that you've used it at work for a decade I was went to check it out thinking maybe it would something I'd like to invest in if you've enjoyed it for that long....annnnnd then i saw that price :P

I'm personally using some chair from staples that was on sale for about $60. It does it's job but I really need to invest into better chairs for both work at home since I do a lot of sitting these days.
