Mount farmers- How lucky and persistent are you?

I kinda just get bored one day a pop in the closest raid to me that drops a pet or mount and see if I get lucky the one time I do it a month, that way I don't get too bothered if what I want doesn't drop I got Invincible this way so it was worth

Note - I have around 250 mounts, so a big milestone is reached for me and I'm less stressed about the remaining mounts Seeing what others have posted here I can tell that alot of people are more persistent than me. I usually just farm 2-3 mounts at once until I get them and then move on to the next ones.

Yes, there is a pattern for me – if I cant FARM it I don't really bother with it. It annoys me to no end to sit around an wait for something to spawn on top of me. Tlpd burned me too much out. I camped that one for weeks and still don't have him.

Kinda persistent, and average on luck. Though I don't have the motivation to do stuff for long with multiple chars. So it's usually: Sometimes only one char/week, sometimes 3-4, sometimes more. It depends a lot on my mood.

As for the numbers, I don't really know how often I killed many of them, so these are just guesses. I'm not going to list my group kills, only my solo-farm kills (except eventstuff like Headless Horseman). On some bosses I had over 200 kills in a group in addition to those mentioned here.

If you were in my server you would have to cash out 953k to get the WB mounts. Oondasta and Gallion's one half, but the other 2 go for goldcap within hours (if not seconds).

I know what you mean....I already lost a sha mount because ppl capped, Im ok with that I already capped a mount too I just dont do these silly buys anymore... I got my cobalt serpent for 215k for example you just need patience and some luck

Im not to much of a mount farmer but Ive been extremely lucky when it comes to a few mounts tho
I got the Kara and Onyxian mount during first tries when I was doing the selfie achievement since " I thought I might aswell just kill it when im here"
Also got the remade Zul Gurub mounts at the same run back in Cata
Got the double mount drop at Malygos at my 4th kill
Got 2 of the Houlon mounts and got my first one of em at the third kill

Lastly me and my rl bro made a pact more than a year ago about farming Ulduar and ICC mounts. Since we started doing this at level 90 you needed 2 players if u werent very good geared. I wanted the Ulduar Mount and He wanted the Icc Mount
Been farming since then on 15 characters each week, the ulduar mount dropped after a month for me while Invincible still havent dropped for him

Reins of the Phosphorescent Stone Drake - Ok listen up, still cant sleep over this one.... I was one of the first on my server to Deepholme during cata, saw the drake and was wondering the f it could be mounted, so i just kept on questing. 1 week later I read on wowhead that it drops a mount. FML.

Other rares: I have all of them, from leading camping raid groups. I have 1/4 invasion mounts. I do 3x plat and bosses a week.

Italic mounts are missing. It's important to note that I always try to get mounts whilst they are 100%, and when I run raids I generally have people needing/passing for me. I have also been farming mounts for around 5 years, and always carry a bribe around with me (just in case). Perhaps my biggest achievement however is obtaining all but three TCG mounts without spending any real cash (except wow sub).
