    Two's a party

Me and a friend are playing quite often, just normal quick play , but we like trying out different hero combo's to see what works or is just fun, so what are the best / most fun pairings you guys have come across ?

So far our favorite is Valla + Tyrande, but also enjoy Illidan + Anub'arak together.

    Any idea's ?

rehgar with his frequent snare + an assassin with executioner talent.

I would look more at such talent combinations.

Gazlowe works very well in a lot of comps, Gravobomb can compliment a lot of Ults amazingly, for eg, Mosh pit(ETC)... gives you a group of dancing people for your team to tear down.

Gravobomb + Waiiling Arrow(Sylvanas) = silenced group for 2.5 seconds

    Gravobomb + Hinterland Blast(Falstad)

As the above said... Gravobomb + Zombie Wall + Ravenous Spirit puts a dent in everyones HP.

I played a combo with a Valla earlier... she caught 3/4 people in her Ult (not the strafe) and I metamorphosis'd ontop of them all giving me a lot more haste and a dead enemy team (almost)

Tyrande works really well with Diablo too, aswell as any ranged character. Nova and Jaina wreck face with her.

Rehgar and Illidan is a match made in heaven. A good Illidan supported by a good Rehgar is frighteningly difficult to kill.

ETC + Naz is the best. Get a stage dive then Rav them all=win.

Arthas and any assassin or specialist that can tie an enemy down with stuns/slows is downright beautiful. Arthas is a high-offense warrior who greatly benefits from anyone with the ability to do a ranged initiate for him.

I really enjoy Aba/Illidan. Make your buddy an unstoppable killing machine! I think Aba/Zera works too, haven't tried it yet.

I don't think Aba/Zera would be as strong, Zera doesn't want to live on the front lines like Illy does. He wants to get in, murder someone and get out.

I saw one Aba/Zera pair that completely dominated a game, but you know, sample of 1. Might try it and see.

I saw an interesting Tyrael + Falstad combo. Tyrael uses Judgement on one of the squishy characters in the back (locking them down) while the Falstad uses Overdrive [talent] and Hinterlands Blast from a distance to pretty much remove that player from the fight.

I've never tried to combo myself, but it looked like it could be fun.

For a less conventional one: Raynor + Sgt. Hammer. They seem to me the perfect match. Raynor buffs hammer as she destroys everything in range, and if they come close enough to attack her raynor either knocks them away or just straight-up slaughters them the way he tends to do if they don't run away after taking two Qs to the face. He's also strong enough to take a few skillshots to the face for her, healing back up with his stimpack.

Your stupid illidan+support combo can't do shit to that! Enjoy your quintuple consequtive knockbacks before you can even start attacking!

Illidan gains Unstoppable during both his gap closers and has a third with Meta if they do manage to push him off

    Then Hammer is FUCKED.

Did you know, without his evasion up illidan is actually less tanky that sgt. hammer? Interesting, eh?

Illidan has to use sweeping strike to get into range of a sieged hammer. Then all you need to do is not Q him while his avoidance is up and he dies to the knockback+stun+50% more damage taken+mines (with knockback)+napalm+banshees+AAs from both of them+more knockback with stun+more knocback from hammer W+more knockback with stun.

Raynor's massive overriding weakness is that, while his Q destroys people, it also knocks them away, which makes it really hard for raynor to kill anyone unless his banshees manage to finish them off as they're running away. If anyone is dumb enough to actually fight raynor while taking his Qs to the face, they're going to die. I don't think anyone in the game can duel him, even illidan, as long as raynor doesn't blow his load on the evasion.

That's what makes raynor+hammer is strong. Raynor wants to destroy people up close, but people don't want to get close to him because he destroys them. Just stand near hammer and people will come to you, eager to be destroyed by your Qs while tunnelvisioning the siege tank.

It still gets fucked by burst damage and heavy CC/disruption (and that fucking imposing presence bullshit), but that's not what illidan provides.

They did it on TGN Brawl With the Bros... I've also seen that before.

    Illidan on his own, sure.

Illidan with a Rehgar takes years to die.

That must have been where I saw it. Thanks for the heads up.
