Anyone seen this crazy woman, shot a cat she thought was feral with a bow and arrow, posts on her facebook how funny it is. Internet does it's usual and now she's fucked.

Update: an owner of a cat has come forward saying it COULD be theirs.

She has been fired.

She broke the law and could face prosecution according to the Texas penal code.

She has been denounce by her previous employer and the Texas veterinary association are also investigating and have expressed disgust.

They also say she has broken her oath as a vet.

Edit 2: I only meant Karma in the loose term, she got what she deserved not in the weird cooky good intentions bad intentions way.

Er... as a cat owner/animal lover, I am not going to look at anything like that. As far as what she had coming to her, that is what happens when you engage the public with unpopular ideas.

I've mentioned before that outside of town, here, there's a problem with feral cats. If you call the authorities they will do dickall about it, unless you trap the animal yourself. If you trap it a police officer will pick it up, and then most likely take it up into the canyon and shoot it.

Some of those officers will (thoroughly unofficially) recommend you just shoot them yourself, rather than go through that much hassle.

Theres such a thing as humane putting down you know. Shooting an arrow through the head of cats is inhumane when you can just take it to the vet and have it peacefuly put to sleep. She was a VET, she should know better and she CERTAINLY has access to peaceful euthenasia.

Oh, and the cat wasnt even a feral. It belonged to some elderly neighbors, so she was just being a bitch about tresspassing cats, which its in their nature to do anyways.

For one thing, euthanasia ain't all sunshine and rainbow kittens. For another, unless it was unlucky an arrow through and through the cranium isn't the worst way for a feral cat to go. Not by a long shot.

The difference is in a vets office, its controlled. With a bow an arrow, you could just as easily maim the cat and it still live. maiming an animal qualifies as animal cruelty. I mean I can count dozens of cats that have lived through arrows in their head but were pretty badly damaged from it.

creulty to animals as in the article above is a good indicator of sociopathic/psychopathic behavior. smiling while doing it is a good indicator the person is mentally disturbed.
