Albion Online is the upcoming Free-to-Play, classless, medieval sandbox MMO. It is also a cross-platformer, which will be running on Windows, iOS and Android. Currently, the game is still in the alpha stage.

You can conquer the vast world of Albion for yourself! Territories mean shelter from the dangers of the wilderness, and room to build villages and gather precious resources. Claim yours, then expand your empire and protect it from invaders!

Lovely game. I will surely give it a try when it comes out. The graphics remind me of Runescape, and that's a huge turn on for me.

I don't know why, but i was waited long time for game like that! I just only hope, there will be not much system like in Archeage, which you need buy vip accounts to build etc.

When it comes to MMOs, I always replace the word "sandbox" with the word "shitty", and it's always an accurate description.

I'm interested to see how this does given they're trying to make a push into mobile platforms. Don't really care about playing it, but from an evolutionary standpoint, it's a very engaging move to see in the market.

as much as I *want* a real sandbox MMO where players actually affect the world around them, all I see is vaporware.

Video looks interesting though, but there were a few comments that set up red flags in my mind, sadly.

For real substantial info id suggest visiting the forums on their site. Lots of stuff is changing since it was alpha and closed beta is starting next week. It's still not a finished product so next year when it goes out as f2p we could give our real final judgement. I like the ideas coming up and the way developers are open and communicate with the community over forums.

I've heard of this game once, that's it. Hoping to be surprised but I just haven't seen enough of it yet. I'll look at the trailer as soon as i finish this post. Got my hands full with a few other MMOS atm but I'd definitely try out the beta if they give me a key.
