Maybe, just maybe, God is telling you, via being found in to be in the legal wrong and fined accordingly, and having your attempt to profit off your illegal actions stopped, that you should stop being hateful bigots in the first place?

Just to be clear, if you read the article, GoFundMe shut their campaign down because they were raising money to pay off the $135,000 fine that was leveled against them. GoFundMe doesn't let you use their service to fund illegal activity, which is exactly what they were doing. The decision had nothing to do with the circumstances, which is why the pizzeria GoFundMe earlier did not get shut down.

They broke the site's Terms and Conditions, it had nothing to do with GoFundMe disagreeing with anything.

Do some people lack the common sense to be humane and ethical or something?

For some of them they are missing the parts of the brain that let fully functional people experience emotions like empathy and compassion. For others it's a reaction to the abuse they've experienced. As for the rest, I guess it's just easier for them to be assholes.

I do love the relativistic garbage about tolerating their intolerance though, as if they suddenly believed their sacred book of fairy tales compelled them to sacrifice children under the full moon we would let them lawfully do it "because magic." It's disgusting.

I don't know that failure to agree to bake a wedding cake for what your faith clearly states is a sinful event constitutes "hurting" anyone. There are other bakeries that will bake such a cake.
