do you prefer simple or complex explination to problems?
Always complicated, simplicity often masks the intricacies.
If a simple explaination is all that is needed, then yes. If it need a compex explaination, then yes.
SO yes.
I prefer the one that's needed to understand the problem enough so I can solve it.
To answer the question it would depend on the situation.
If my problem was "How does Vea Lea think of these thread topics?" then I would prefer simple. If my question was "How does Vea Lea's mind work?" then I would need something a little more detailed.

... these random made topics are getting weirder and weider ...
In general a simple one is best imo. If I have no knowledge of the area in which the problem has occurred, then a complex one will go over my head while a simple one may outline so I can grasp it and have a decent understanding. If It's an area i am knowledgeable in a simple explanation will be enough for me to understand it and I'd be able to ask any questions I need to ask to find out the rest of the information and the person explaining it would be able to tell me anything else I'd need to know.
I guess if the problem was in a professional capacity I'd need a complex one however just to make sure I have all the information but even then I'd like to start out with a simple one, complex explanations can be detrimental unless the person giving them knows their shit honestly.
Simple first, then complex. Learn the basics first, then expand on it.
It depends if I have a good understanding of the subject, a complex explanation may be somewhat redundant if I can't correctly interpret what's being said.
I prefer elegant explanations. Those tend to be simple but not always.
Meanwhile, back on Azeroth, the overwhelming majority of the orcs languished in internment camps. One Orc had a dream. A dream to reunite the disparate souls trapped under the lock and key of the Alliance. So he raided the internment camps, freeing those orcs that he could, and reached out to a downtrodden tribe of trolls to aid him in rebuilding a Horde where orcs could live free of the humans who defeated them so long ago. That orc's name was... Rend.
the correct answer's complexity depends on the complexity of the correct answer. Some questions have a simple answer some do not. Answers should strive to be precise and concise, no unnecessary complexity, no details omitted. How simple or complex this makes them depends on the subject matter.
I prefer simple, but it varies. If I cannot get an adequate explanation with a simple answer, I'm going to want to hear the complex one.
In short: Whatever explanation is the shortest, without leaving out any important details.
We're a band of vicious pirates,
we depend on RNG.
If I only get one buff,
then bury me at sea
I prefer the most complete explanation. I often find simple explanations lacking and do not absolve my ignorance in a satisfactory manner.
Depends on the subject really, middle ground seems fine.
I prefer simple explanation. If I think it's interesting than I would like a complex explanation.
Both. I hate people who waffle about things I didn't ask of them.
it has another aspect to it.
providing an extensive explanation right away does not promote and support critical problem solving skills, independence, and creativity.
A basic short explanation encourages these aspects. And if you don't understand something, just ask and the unclear aspect can be addressed more detailed.
