    Trains are so cool, dude.

Then again, I think all forms of public transport are AWESOME, especially like subways and stuff. DEAR GOD I'M IN THE WRONG MAJOR.

YES! WELCOME TO THE HYPER NERD TRANSPORTATION CLUB! And it's ok, I'm majoring in political science, not supply chain management or architecture or something that is actually related to transportation
(ok ok, political science can definitely be related to transportation because policy, duh, but transportation isn't the main thing I study in poli sci obvs, it just happens to be one of my favourite side areas of research).

You should check out megaregion planning, it's cool Start with the Texas Triangle

YES! I'm always talking about my love of public transport to unsuspecting victims. That is, when I'm not talking about my strong hatred for motorized lawn-mowers.

And yeah, like, my major (still political science as well) DOES relate to public transport, but even if I managed to get myself into a position directly involved with public transport, I...actually, that's what I want to do. Nevermind.

Hastings, you've ruined me. I'm probably going to be spending half of my free time learning megaregion planning now. Goodbye world.

And, this is going to sound really strange and unambitious, but I would LOVE to be a subway conductor or one of those people who takes tickets or SOMETHING where I actually get to see the subways every single day.

I don't even care about the money or the prestige.

Oh how much I wish the world was one big megaregion...

Ever thought about becoming a transportation planner, Deca? Sounds like it really interests you.

I...I...think this might be something that I'd really like to do. Thanks, Fling. Next chance I get, I'm probably going to discuss this with my parents and my academic advisers.

Yeah, I mean, I'm looking at it, and while it's not the optimal degree, Political Sciences does aid the transport planner career.

I wrote an entire speech on it, but summed up motorized lawn mowers (in particular, gas-powered):

    Are dangerous
    Are loud
Are TERRIBLE for the environment (more than you'd probably think)
and most importantly, they are bad for lawns.

When it comes to ekistics and similar plans, I kind of shy away from that and focus on transhumanism as the ideal. This might sound weird, but putting ourselves into "the Matrix" may very well be the best decision humanity ever makes, for our health, enjoyment, AND our progress.

Of course, for that style of transhumanism to work, there needs to be a fair amount of outside automization so I guess I would say I find ekistics fairly exciting.

Pshhhhh, I'm always okay with people going off topic to talk about stuff like this. Transhumanism in particular really fascinates me.

Oh? That sounds good. I have actually managed to not hear much at all about Star Wars, not even about its quality. How did you feel about it?

Uh-oh, we miss planned our sleep schedules. ;D

Good morning and goodnight, Hunty. If you don't have to stay awake for something, you shouldn't.
