ERASED 7: Ug.
If you like Punpun I'd suggest trying out Onanie Master Kurosawa. It has a similar tone to Punpun but it's also funny as fuck (at first). I finished it in a single night when I read it, primarily because it's really damn good but also because it's a lot shorter than Punpun.
The synopsis might sound dumb as fuck but trust me, it's good.
so you have to buy bdo and it has a cash shop right away?
Okay since you have already read Kurosawa, I recommend Molester Man. It's drawn by the same guy who did Kurosawa, and it's based off a "real" story that happened on 2ch.
It doesn't have the same tone as Kurosawa, but it has the same humour and the romance in it is great. It also has one of the greatest girls ever in manga/anime, that made me question whether or not such a girl could exist irl (since the story is based off a "real" story): Kansai.
The only problem is the art looks like fucking shit 99% of the time.
Part of the reason it's so entertaining is because it was based off a story that really happened. Frankly, I've read the translated 2ch threads, and I seriously doubt the "original" Molester Man was actually telling the truth, but it's still fucking great.
The truth is when I went to Japan I hoped I'd find a Kansai just like the one in the manga. And I nearly did. Then I died and realized real life will never surpass anime.
I'm not going to skip Nisekoi. I love that series. I'll check out Punpun and Saya no Uta though.
I don't know, man, what I read was enough to have me teary-eyed. The whole "power of friendship" theme always gets me, even more so than love themes. That's probably why Madoka destroyed me and Oregairu breaks my heart.
Hopefully that's a good thing.
