Started watching Eureka Seven with some friends. Twelve episodes in, and it's pretty good. The 4:3 is still hard to cope with, but the characters are all great. Anemone is by far the best though.

Shuumatsu/SukuSuka 1 - This really set the stage for something special. This is probably the show I enjoyed the most so far this season.

Eureka Seven is damn good. Too bad the sequel was so disconnected.

Rokudenashi really picked up after the first episode. Episode 1 felt a bit generic (which I didn't mind since I'm a basic bitch), but episodes 2 and 3 were fantastic. If you enjoy that genre but didn't enjoy how the first episode went, I'd recommend trying one more.

I haven't seen SukaSuka 2 yet, but the first episode struck me as kind of...average. First scene was engaging, the rest was take it or leave it for me.

I wish I could tell my roommate this. He refuses to watch more past episode 1.

episode 1 sucked, episode 2 was actually pretty good. i liked the part where he criticized the fact that they only teach how to cast the magic but not how it actually worked and started teaching them the latter. it was a very good tidbit imho. episode 3 was mediocre to good.

    I blame fatigue from finals.

iirc chapter 3 was one of the hardest ones for me, at least in regards to the howdunnit. It had a lot of tricks that I wasn't quite sure how they were done so I was fairly confused heading into the trial. Also unlike you I thought I had suspected Akane/Nagito a bit as I didn't believe the sickness was enough proof they didn't do it. Mikan had been one of my top suspects though.

For me I was close on for most of the tricks I feel...I'm at the ch. 4 pre-trial now (hit it yesterday afternoon actually), but I don't think I'll actually do the trial until tomorrow, and I need to run through my clues and so on to put together a real guess

Episode 2 was a bit more substantial, aside from pointless shots of the girls in underwear and the massage scene.
