trouble with threat prot warrior

tanking normal highmaul tryin to help new people gear up and im tanking with my friend who is bear tank. im ilvl 680 he is like 650 and im doing so much more damage than him but hes like pulling threat by just auto attacking and im spamming abilities. any help?

do you have "subtle defender" glyphed?

If you respecced from fury/arms, you may still have d stance glyphed. Also when you take off the glyph after respeccing like this, I've noticed it will sometimes not actually carry the threat change over unless you switch specs and go back to prot after removing the glyph.

if this is a thing then that might be the case

It cannot be something else then the glyph bug.

A single Shieldslam should put you far enough ahead to go afk for a minute.

That was what was causing it!
