Investigations to be opened into Planned Parenthood over organ harvesting

So I am pro choice but there might be a grey area here on if harvesting organs from a aborted fetus and not just stem cells falls under the Organ Harvest Ban. The video is slightly disturbing given the topic and them eating the entire time.

I wasn't aware there were any states that allowed partial-birth abortions, those are usually pretty late in the pregnancy right? Early-stage fetuses don't really have usable organs. A heart the size of a grape isn't going to do much good in anyone.

Disingenuous group called "The Center for Medical Progress" (appears to just have formed a few months ago) which is a sub-group of the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research. This is a right-wing think tank. About the only thing good they've ever come up with is community policing. Everything else is done in the name of ideology and/or corporate profits.

I don't like abortions but I don't support banning the practice, I do have a problem with the idea of reducing life down to a point where people can shop body parts. I guess My question would come in is are they getting permission from the mother before they do this, and what is the money being raised go towards.

Because if this is done without the moms permission, and these places are pocketing the money, not only is that fucked up in a moral and ethical way, then these people should be in prison if they are just doing this on their own.

In the video, she talks about how each... "specimen" is sold for about 30-100 dollars, depending on what is expected.

Honestly, I think this practice needs to stop. I think abortions should be safe and legal (and honestly I'd prefer it only performed on those who actually need it done, not because they just don't want a baby). Nevertheless, it's people like her that are the reason why pro-life people are so adamant that abortion is murder. I can't believe she would encourage a baby to be partially born in order to not damage some organs so she can sell it and make money off of the dead baby.

She is the Director of Medical Services for Planned Parenthood, and she says many objectionable, abhorrent things, that I bet even a pro-choice, pro-abortion person would be appalled by. It's not really something that can be twisted, they're having dinner with her with a camera and talking about it. I think regardless of being a pro-life or pro-choice person, this is really about stopping illegal acts and getting some justice for the things she has done, like partially birth a baby before aborting it. (That is illegal)
