Perfect example of corporate greed and its effect

The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot was a great concept, but made by Ubisoft.
This resulted in the worst cashgrab F2P game ever where EVERYTHING, even during the Alpha and BETA could be bought with money currency.

People got so fed up with this, the only thing this game could thrive on, community sense, was completely destroyed. A good example of this is their FB page, 90.000 (old) followers, and most posts dont even get a single like.

Why do we only treat startup games this way? This is what should happen to all corporate greed in the gaming industry.

    Thoughts?

You mean two separate concepts that other people came up with, which were then combined into one game by a third party?

When you combine F2P with PvP(especially always-on PvP), you have to be really, really careful how you handle it or it turns into an un-fun cashgrab. Granted, some people love that, and when you have enough of them, it doesn't matter if freemium players get mad, long as that dollah keeps coming in. But churn is something all games struggle with, and in the long run, it's going to roll you over no matter what you do.
