i think i couldn't express myself clearly here..

the issue isn't 4chan but using that little guy's body as a humour subject. i mean ofcourse thousands of kids - babies die everyday for various reasons but we generally don't use their photos to laugh ( at least this is what i hope for the sake of humanity )

i also know that younger mmo-champion folks will comment as all the cool kids do like '' what is the deal ? '' or '' i laughed hard '' etc. i guess i am trying hard here, i just found it disgusting and wanted to hear people's opinions. ( i am perfectly fine with religious memes or jokes btw, if that matters )

Most people who get easily offended by things are sheltered and small-minded.

Those who work in horrible conditions in third world conditions or near poverty and strife, who have seen the way the world really exists outside a little bubble of (for example) wealthy american easy life -- they know that humour about often horrible things is just sometimes how people get through the day.

Most people in the world work very hard, and seeing suffering, dead or injured humans and animals, waste and disease, is sadly their everyday experience.

It doesn't freak them out the way it does for the sheltered west.

If you can't laugh at tragedy you hate. You hate the people who did this to boy, you hate the situation, you hate all the countries involved. You have to be pretty terrible to just laugh at something like this and not push the hatred for our species in general down so you can tune it out at the same time. I honestly expect younger members to put on the white knight suit instead of more mature members who understand that while shocking to some is harming nobody and shouldn't be taken very serious.
