learning to tank

As the title says, I want to learn to tank. Ive been playing since MOP mainly just ret pally which I feel I am pretty good at. I raided SoO normal when normal was normal! Guild fell apart and took a long break. I suffer from being on a crap realm but my few friends play on it so I hate to leave.
I have a decently geared prot pally ilvl 703 and understand some of the basic mechanics of tanking but would love to learn much more about it. SO my question is where can I go and what can I do to learn to tank? I have tried a few heroic dungeons with the majority being successful and a few massive cluster-fucks, some of my own doing and some not. So if anyone is interested in helping or has some suggestions for me I would greatly appreciate it. I'm an adult so I can handle criticism well. My mains name is Anavar, Horde, Gnomeregan.
