Left/right is a flawed way to view the political spectrum, so I won't use it to identify myself.

Neither, closest to being a classic liberal.

Despite of what Americans think, world is not binary. In true democracies there are more options than just left and right.

And now I want chicken wings. See what you've done?

Right, but you left me wondering why his elbow is the center, especially when it's his left elbow. Shouldn't his chin or spine rightly be called the center?

Let's all ride the Gish gallop.

I consider my views right wing, however I interpret that as capitalist vs. socialist rather than liberal vs. conservative in a social sense (I'm very liberal socially).

In reality the terms are vague and largely determined by the political climate of the time. ORIGINALLY, right wing meant you supported the King and left wing meant you supported the Revolution. Generally speaking they've been interpreted as supporting the status quo vs. supporting change and progress. Of course, what exactly the status quo IS depends entirely on the exact period in question, so the terms are pretty relative. I think the capitalist/socialist divide is largely a 20th Century thing.

No, it's rightly clear that it's pointing to his left elbow.

Are these democracies entirely theoretical? From what I've seen "democracies" generally wind up with either a two-party system or a two-party system with a little underdog third party and maybe a joke fourth.

Nawp. You have it wrong. Right now, it's pretty much hating women, people who weren't born here before you, and pushing religious agendas. That's the right. What's left is, uhhhm mmmmmm who the fuck are these dipshits?:

If you want to argue definitions, try it on the general public.
