What do you guys usually dream about or have dreamed about?

Weirdest dream i ever had was about Everyone in the world being chairs

I've dreamed countless times about a particular ex or zombies but never a zombie ex.

In particular, I dream about being a different version of myself living a life I'd rather be living.

I rarely remember my dreams but usually they're about normal life stuff. Like I'll be hanging out with my friends and shit in my dream. Nothing too exciting (that I can remember anyway).

When I dream its usually a premonition of whats to come. Like for several months somewhere in my dreams(usually ended up being as im waking up) my friend Wesley would stab me through the heart from the back. An I would usually wake up in a cold sweat. Months later he stole 13,000$ from me, an I haven't seen him since. Since than I've done better to watch those I dream about.

And then I realize it's been over 5 years since I studied Spanish. Yes, it was that traumatizing.

I have a ton of lucid, colorful and unrealistic dreams. Most have be a sort of warrior princess lol. Others I can fly. Others it's just sex based. But all are in fantasy like worlds, or my house.

Common themes are being chased by monsters and massive amounts of water. Huge waves feature regularly. I enjoy them a lot, especially when I've been doing lucid dream exercises.

I seem to remember them all crystal clear in detail after I've woken up. It's fun until I have a nightmare... I can still remember one I had over a week ago. Very unpleasant :/

That's a shame. Lucid dreams are awesome. Except when they turn into nightmares. Like when I dreamed my family died, I woke up crying really bad.

the best i can do is realize i'm dreaming which is often but nothing changes. i'm still just a spectator unable to take control.
the best i can do is try and steer the dream in a better direction. it's really frustrating how do you lucid dream reliably?
