RIP PvP rogues. DH now counter stealth entirely.

Spectral Sight: Allows you to see enemies and treasures through physical barriers, as well as enemies that are stealthed and invisible. Lasts until canceled. Adds fire around the edges of the screen and constant sound effects. While enabled you move at 80% speed instead of 115% and walk with a "stealth" animation.

I expect it to get worse before it gets better. The original preview for it was a 2min cd that lasted 6 secs at gamescom, now it's a 10sec cd with no duration lol. And with beta within the next few weeks that doesn't look like a good direction it's going lol.

Chinglish said on his stream that you cant activate any abilities during spectral sight since doing so will cancel it. When cancelled it incurs the 10s cd. However idk if it also works in combat.

The fact you move slower as well as cant use abilities without breaking it means the dh himself cant catch the rogue easily. Youll have to communicate with allies or get lucky with aoe abilities. I also dont see the dh having much cc besides the longcd aoe stun.

Rogues are rarely ever not good. Never garbage.

Rogues are, sometimes, subpar at the start of an expansion due to scaling - but that's the worst of it.

And it's less that people are afraid of fighting rogues and more that there's little point in world PVP. A rogue can't die unless they're stupid. With Burst of Speed and a basic cloak enchant, rogues are as fast as mounts, and between the CC and Vanish, they can disappear or reset the fight whenever they want.

you forgot that DH was a dodge class that can also use a couple of their abilities while stunned and will probably move faster than rogues with perma sprint up
