Ohio Planned Parenthood Disposes of Fetuses in Landfills

Earlier this year, Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine directed his Charitable Law Section to investigate whether Planned Parenthood affiliates in Bedford Heights, Cincinnati, and Columbus were violating Ohio law by selling fetal tissue, or abortion trafficking, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.14.

The investigation did not find that fetal tissue was sold by Planned Parenthood affiliates in Ohio.

The investigation showed that the disposal methods documented by the Planned Parenthood affiliates violate Ohio Administrative Code 3701-47-05, adopted in 1975, which requires that a “fetus shall be disposed of in a humane manner.”

This seems to me like a few morally opposed individuals are really grasping at straws in order to condemn Planned Parenthood at large. It's also unclear whether PP sent aborted fetuses to these companies knowing that they would dispose of them in landfills. I feel like some people are trying to make this into a political conspiracy.

I also think it's interesting that Ohio has laws stating they must be disposed of humanely. What exactly does this mean? This seems to be very subjective. Clearly it isn't suggesting that we give every fetus a funeral, but then, what do we do with them?

There was a huge uproar a while back where a hospital or something was using the heat from their incinerator for heating or power. So naturally 'hospital burns babies for heat'.

I thought they sent the parts to people who needed tissue samples. There was some video a few months back where they were trying to paint planned parenthood as baby body part salesmen, but it turned out that they were simply shipping the parts out for no profit at all for scientific studies and things of that nature.

Everyone needs to get off planned parenthoods nuts. Gawd Dam. We have bigger things to worry about.

Not that I condone doing whatever you want with the fetus', but "humane" treatment usually applies to the living. There's nothing inherently more humane about disposing of a body one way or another, it's purely for the families of the deceased and their peace of mind(Even if objectively it doesn't matter).

People would rather hang on to sentimentality than efficiency or productivity. (Not a bash against people who do, but that is what occurs)
