Sarah Palin officially to endorse Trump and not Cruz.

Well, RIP to the Tea Party. I'm not a conservative but Palin, the face/voice of the Tea Party is supporting Trump over Cruz means she's totally sold out. This is the lady who preached core conservative values hating on abortion and such, but picks Trump over Cruz? The guy who's been divorced how many times? At least Cruz has been vigilant in his conservative values, while Trump just switched his abortion stance like... last year? lol

Sarah Palin has endorsed Donald Trump in the crowded Republican primary field, his campaign confirmed today.

The former Alaska governor and 2008 vice presidential candidate was a key supporter of Texas Sen. Ted Cruz’s 2012 Senate bid. But this cycle, the leading Tea Party voice has been mulling an endorsement of Trump, the frontrunner in national 2016 polls.

Palin is set to appear with Trump at his rally tonight in Ames, Iowa.

If I were a politician, I would take her endorsement as an insult.

More of a curse than an endorsement. She single-handedly costed John McCain the election, which ended up being a good thing.

Yep, he still might get the republican nomination but he's lost the presidential race. Never thought I would say something nice about Sarah Palin.

Actually , I don't know how political any of you are (I'm not very myself but I listen to talk radio everyday since I have a 90 minute ride to work - on a good day, sometimes its over 2 hours) I've watched some of the debates as well just for the sake I always hated the idea of uninformed people voting for who will run our nation, so I try to actually make an informed choice beyond the superficial crap most get caught up in.

Anyway - on the talk shows it pretty much goes like this --- the dems are saying what most of you guys here are saying -- "what a joke" "well he's lost now"....etc. etc. but the republican shows are basically saying it can only HELP trump in places like the mid-west (IOWA), but it won't do much on the coasts. So as you can guess since Iowa is one of the places that they feel it will help Trump ....and what's in Iowa ? That's right the Iowa Caucus (even though I'm sure I spelled it wrong). ..

Me personally....I've never been a huge Palin fan , even when she was super popular, but I'm surprised that she went with Trump and not Cruz.

My stand for president -- I'm not Republican, but I will admit I lean more towards the GoP than the Dems (I'm registered Independent...have been my entire life) ... I don't like Sanders or Clinton flat out do not want them in the White House.

I prefer Rubio or Cruz over Trump....but if Trump gets the nomination I'll vote for him as default to stop Hilary or Bernie.

Btw in case someone wants to spaz that "of course I'll vote Republican".......I've voted for both Dems and Republicans through out the years so can't play that "fan boy" game with me there. Its whoever's solutions / ideas I like more than anything else.

And even SHE knows that there might be problems http://www.politico.com/story/2015/0...d-trump-115224

Was a bit unexpected when I saw it during the show.

She's always been about the business side of politics, even while on the family values kick. Especially as she got bigger and turned into a Politicelebrity.

She brings some diehards with her that's for sure, but she's been a ghost for awhile now so I don't know how much this will actually accomplish.

A Palin endorsement is a political torpedo.

If it were any other politician I'd agree, but this is Trump we're talking about.

Also all he'd have to do if he didn't want her support is find some cute way to bash her and then POOF! All his supporters who liked her will side with him.

John McCain would have signed the same bills and droned the same people.

Palin's speech is on tv here at work, she sounds a bit shrill and out of practice.

    Sarah Palin disgusts me.

If her endorsing Trump makes Trump get all chummy with her and makes considerations toward her for future political appointments/deals, I would get off the Trump Train.

Admittedly I stole this but when Palin was asked which department she would like to lead in the Trump White House Palin answered "all of them".
