Hey Guys since im a lil borred with PVE i wanna give the PVP Play a chance = )

since im all new in the battle i would love to here some advice on how to start!

I Guess is skirmishes a good way to get a feeling for the arena ? Maybe to see what the other classes are doing and would i can to against them.

And the other questen is what would you reccommend to start with

I have a Enhance Shaman and a Rogue witch i play in PVE.

Would definitely recommend starting with enh sham, it's a top-tier spec in 3s as well as RBGs, whilst being A LOT easier to play than rogue.

A good way to get some class knowledge is spend a while dueling some players that seem to know what they're doing. You'll get class knowledge pretty quickly from dueling them a lot. If you're wanting to learn, it's a lot more beneficial to duel a decent player and lose a lot than win over people that don't really know what they're doing. If you lose, hopefully they're not a douche and they'll help you figuring out how to beat them.

To learn how various comps work, I'd recommend watching some of the top PvP streamers on Twitch.

Skirmishes wouldn't be a bad start, it's more comparable to arenas than say, random bgs, but it's nowhere near the same as arena, as most of the people queuing are just matched randomly, so there's no voice comms and they're normally not lucky enough to be placed into a proper comp. Not to mention it's rare that you find any decent players there.

Since you're just starting, all you then really have to do is just find a couple of friends that form part of a decent comp and improve together. Wouldn't recommend pugging.

playing bgs and looking for 1v1s around the map is fun too and less stressful

If you play combat rogue, just start with Marked for dead, then Slice and dice, then use Garrot in stealth, then Adrenalin rush, use standard dps rotation, get redbuff and all cooldowns then just killing spree and oneshot people.

    Remember, red buff means GOGOGOGOGOGOO

My first arena was me getting shouted at for not using cyclone because I didn't know how PS worked back in cata (or anything, to be honest) --- it takes a long time to get into PvP in this game.

Combat doesnt even have slice n dice - these type of comments really aren't helpful.
    Hold MFD for your burst/setup

Yeah, people giving bad advice is really harmful. Don't know why so many people are unaware of themselves giving bad advice on things they don't really know about.

If this is irony, then I'm really bad at detecting it.

My Combat Rogue does have Slice and Dice.

Pretty much what this guy said, Enh is way way more tankier in pvp than rogue, also rogue has a much higher skill cap than Enh, which will be a bit of a challenge at start. Best way to learn any spec in pvp is do as much pvp as you can urself, rated or casual pvp, watch videos of glads + xp players, and see how they position themselves around map vs different comps, what are the kill strats vs each comp, what macros/strats they use and try to repeat yourself. The most important thing is not to be afraid to lose or fail at first, every1 sucked at one point in pvp, no matter if they are current r1 or w/e, keep trying to improve and never give up, even though it will be hard at first. Best of luck mate.

Get pvp trinkets, and all ways use insignia on first CC when someone attacking you.

Best way to find out stats/talents/glyphs is to look up to 5 enhance shammies in the 3v3 ladder, but usually enh take either Haste (more healing) or Versality (more survival), Vanguard's Enh (Shamguard) usually has 2 sets of gear versality + haste so that he can swap dep on the team they are facing. But yes look up top shammies on the link below http://us.battle.net/wow/en/pvp/leaderboards/3v3 also Vanguard has a Enh pvp guide somewhere on internet, look it up as well, it should give u a good/base information

Rogue hard to play? Are we back to WotLK days?

On a serious note, play whatever you find more fun, most classes have a high skill ceiling, just some you can rock noobs with little effort.

    My advices to you are:
    1) Learn how to create macros, you will need a ton of them. Start with a few new ones that are abolutely mandatory (interrupt on focus, hex on focus, on mouse over heal / dispel), then advance to more / better reactive ones.
    2) Learn all the CC every class has and its drs, as well as the ones you can avoid/remove and how.
    3) Learn all classes defensive and offensive CDs, this will help you to take good decisions.
    4) Don't be affraid to burn defensives, from a learning perspective it is better to die because you used a defensive in the wrong hour than dieing without using them. It will get you to remind to use the defensives and, in time, you will get better notion when to do so.
    5) Play the game... a lot.

Who said rogues were hard to play? I said they were a lot harder to play than enhance, which they are. Sub rogues are probably the only melee spec in the game that actually have a high learning curve still, compared to the other specs.
