Instead of making a video explaining what he's going to do and what he wants people to do, he could just drop out of social media and Youtube completely, and stop making videos. That way he wouldn't have to be involved with any sort of BS having to do with the internet, at all. The internet and the people on the internet have been exactly the same for the past 20-25 years now. Complaining about it, and calling for all people just "get along" is about as insightful as jumping in the lake in the middle of winter and complaining about how the water is cold.

But I mean, his life, whatever gives him joy. He's just not going to change anything. Nothing is. That's the point. So why bother.

I would, but that podcast didn't have either jesse or dodger, so I didn't bother with it.

OT: while I agree for the most part, I also find it pretty obnoxious to tell other people what they should or should not find interesting in media. People make video games, that's great, and when I'm interested in said games I watch a few reviews on them to see what's under the hood. Doesn't stop me from spending 10 minutes of my day reading other video game news for things I find interesting, even if those things are gossipy and irrelevant to me personally.

To be fair, the level of bullshit and drama a nobody on the internet deals with compared to what an internet celebrity deals with is like night and day.

He dealt with it for quite a while, decided he'd had enough, and stepped back. I don't see that as "weakness" or anything, he just doesn't want to deal with stupid bullshit anymore.
