Snazzy end game zone. Had that epic quest line which Blizzard removed sadly. Great looking, i really like the theme.
So, what do you think about it?

its the worst zone in game imo.
Formerly known as Arafal
Usually at that level range I level my alts solely through dungeons, but I certainly quests there on my main. And I was sure I finished it with my Shadow Priest for the flavor. All in all it's amazing! Must have been even more so back in the day.
It's quiet, peaceful and reminds me of one of the best times in WoW's history.
Desolace was better.
I really enjoy the zone it has such a unique atmosphere to me and its also instant nostalgia to boot.
I was too casual & clueless to realize what was going on at the time of the event (wasnt max level either) so can't say I have any real love for the zone.
I like to send people there for no reason making them believe something important was there. Got over 50 people to start WoD in silithus.
In desperate need of updating. Hate the zone.
Too many bugs.
Quests weren't interesting, zone was bland. The only good thing about it was summoning bosses.
Its got the music and atmosphere going for it, that's for sure. And it hasn't really been touched by the Cataclysm IIRC, with the old style of questing staying intact. Just hope Blizzard never goes in there and makes it a linear questfest. Keep something of the old days intact! (although I am curious to see what became of it after the [second] fall of C'thun)
I liked the Exploring the hives. For me, there is a real lack of indoor environments in the game. Like non-instanced dungeons to explore.
I hated it so much. It was probably my least liked zone back vanilla. Boring quests, looked like crap and that long damn walk from Cenarion Hold to AQ was annoying as heck. There was always someone that was a little late and ended up being ganked over and over again so the raid either had to go back out and get him or just carry on without him.
I'm so glad I never have to go back to that place.
I find it a scary zone, prob because bug like wasps scare the crap out of me. But I liked the atmosphere it was otherworldly, and back in the day being a noob and asking in guild , hey guys what are these sand things you click on...right as I clicked on it and then got ganked. The music is strange too, it freaks me out but fits the zone. Like being on mars or something. Oh and those riders that would get transformed and eat my face!
I forgot to add for those that dont know, Silithus is an homage to Dune.

Spent a long time farming Silithid Carapace fragments at the same time as getting into Pendulum (Still Grey, Spiral, Streamlined will always instantly remind me of Silithus regardless of where I hear it )
I liked the PvP zone style to it (The Spice must Flow!), but never played on a server where it was relevant to get a Cenarion rep buff The questline to find the missing Night Elf girl was sufficiently creepy (cuz the respawn rate : my clearing rate in the tunnels was pretty low).
Always loved the raids there in design and scale, both the 20 man and 40 man were as epic as I feel a raid should be.
uh i hate those silithid tunnels.. they're so creepy =/
