Haha.
My slacker mate is the same. Intelligent guy, but is anti-work to the extreme. Only works three days a week, but I get the same text message most Fridays.
"Knackered mate, been working most of the week. Perhaps tomorrow".
Your threads are hilarious, mate.
I am supportive though. I tell them it gets better after a couple weeks. you are just not used to using your muscles.
Work is overrated and many times unnecessary.
Roomates make life interesting. I have 1 who is meh about politics, and two who are widely the opposite direction.
However, we have agreed to not talk about politics. I would rather not trigger them, considering how fragile one of the two is. She really needs somebody like me around to remind her the world isn't la la land with rainbows and sunshine.
So glad I don't have roomates.

I cannot deny. This put a damn smile on my face.
I always thought the line was, "Welcome to the real world" but I like this one much better.
my question is...why have roommates? lol I'm so happy i don't have to deal with living with people who can take up my privacy xD
This is quite the passive-aggressive post. I can only imagine how wonderful it would be to be roommates with the OP.
Why do you even call them roommates. You live with your family.
Doesn't a "roommate" mean someone actually lives in the same room as you do? Wouldn't there be a more adult term one might use, such as cohabitation, if people share a house or a flat? Or even "housemate" or "flatmate" for that matter? Or are we talking about some kind of a single room campus housing where you actually have more than one person living in a single room?
