    Might happen in the states, but if I look at prices of GTX980Ti's (679€ to 999€), I doubt the 1080's (779 € to 849 €) will drop much but you never know.

    Granted the price will be cut down in the near future, which is not guaranteed. I agree it would be wise to wait a few weeks, though.

    EVGA just released their lineup of the gtx 1070. Their base model is $420; the superclocked $440; their founder's edition is $450. Didn't expect to get one at the $380 price NVidia was advertising. May go the Polaris route.

    Surprisingly the founder's editions are more expensive at lower clock rates. Maybe they charge extra for the design cool factor.
