We have not done that and if we did there would be nothing left of that region, isis is alive because they are hiding amongst the civilians shaving their beards and removing their uniforms to blend in with the civilian population to evade airstrikes. If all civilians where gone it would not take long at all to wipe them out.

But we know better then that so we dont just bomb whatever we like as we like to keep the civilians death toll as low as possible.

If this was WW2 they would have leveled entire cities with civilians and everything, we dont do that anymore.

Civilians death's is at a all time low.

Al Nursa is one of the "opposition" groups. People seem to think that because Assad has been portrayed as a monster that the opposition groups are automatically better than him but in reality they are ISIS-light. They still murder Jews/Christians, they still torture/kill captured Syrian soldiers, they still treat women as property (and have declared they will reverse all the women's rights laws if they get into power).

Well lets say you know a country will bomb Al Qaeda and you go and chill with them in their camps and military installations.

It's entirely different to bomb anti-Assad groups in ISIS camps, and ignoring ISIS camps to target anti-Assad camps.

''chill with them'' include stuff like violently advocating for warcrimes and/or indscriminate bombing ? (people complaing that Western bombs ''are not big enough'')

Well lets say you know a country will bomb Al Qaeda and you go and chill with them in their camps and military installations congratulation : you just spelled out the drivel justification used by ISIS and co, except that ''with them'' means ''the country bombing us''

They have been bombing 1000000x more the ISIS targets than the USA led coalition has. Thats the reason that Assad took back Palmyra from ISIS, and several 10s of other ISIS held cities and villages.

Which world are you living in exactly? Or All the ground they took back from ISIS is a fairy tale?

It's almost like they are prioritizing the terrorist camps based on how close to Loyalist Syrian territory they are :O

The FSA gets weapons from USA and gives them to ISIS and Al Qaeda. From what it looks they cooperate with terror and thus why "they chill" with them.
Its confirmed by Pentagon too, nothing new here.

You should ask Turkey about that one.

Makes sense, that Russia would need hundreds of millions of bombs to kill few thousand terrorists.

I'm sure all those schools and hospitals were also deemed full of ISIS children and doctors, mentioned in the warcrimes section.

No, the USA sell weapons to Iraq who's soldiers drop them and run away when ISIS advance at them. ISIS they take the USA weapons with them to Syria and use them to kill Syrians/Russians/Kurds before the Kurds kill them, then they take the weapons and Turkey goes ape **** because they think the USA is arming the Kurds lol.

    No no no no.

Al Nursa is as horrible as ISIS. They are a internationally recognized terror group, doing all the nice stuff ISIS does (beheadings, suicide bombings etc).
You don't negotiate with terror man. You don't give them a break, you don't bargain with them. You just bomb the living hell out of them. Don't you agree?

In fairness, after watching Team America police the world for a decade plus it's understandable if Russia think you're supposed to aim for the schools/hospitals XD

You are either brainwashed, ignorant or completely uninformed. Bombing of hospitals is something that US led coalition does best. Why not blame them first since they have bombed more (if we assume Russia bombed that hospital since there is no proof what so ever and it could be USA again especially considering the record they have with hospitals?)

Does such an approach worked in Algeria and Indochina for France ? Does it worked for the Soviet Union in Afghanistan ?

The thread isn't about USA, or anything it does. But those descriptions do fit you, with your rather sad attempt at deflection and denial. Especially the pathetic conspiracy theory, that USA bombs hospitals with Russian planes to make Russia look bad. Good lord.

If you bomb camps in a middle of nowhere - they will be rebuilt. Someone needs to move into bombed territories

Listen Syria is different because Syria is a close ally to the Russians. They can't let them like that and i have a feeling they wont.
Iran is in there, Russia is in there, Hesbolah is in there and now China will be in there. From the other hand you have NATO.

I think Russia should just start dropping leaflets to cities giving 1 week time for evacuation and then just bringing heavy bombers and leveling it. Enough with the bullcrap in Syria. It needs to end.

Its a proxy battle, same like Ukraine, both being battles of the same war.

Shit happens. Sometimes ISIS fighters occupy schools and hospitals, it's sad, but it happens, and what are you exactly expected to do in this case? Hospitals and schools, at least, can be rebuilt. I doubt that they do any good while being occupied by ISIS fighters.

Also, i wouldn't count on wiki articless because anyone can edit them, and when it comes to politics, wiki mods are quite one-sided

    No. You are in denial.

The said Russian bombing on the hospital was denied by Russians and was never proven from either USA nor people on the ground.
When the IMF hospital got bombed by USA, the doctors said it was USA who did it because ... they saw the planes.

You are too brainwashed for your own good.
