This is now live. I also notice that I do a good job of keeping max shards now. Maybe I am just getting lucky.

Let the gates of hell open wide upon our enemies as we shatter their hopes with our newfound power!
And one step closer to MoP god-mode level.
It's gonna be a long road, but Purple will rule again, my friends.
Except this is literally not going to change the awful mechanics we're stuck with. I guess all it takes is a tiny change to appease the idiots.
3 at the start doesn't mean jack diddly more than about 30 seconds into a boss fight. Starting shard count is the issue, in combat generation is.
Yea I'm confused as to why this is making anyone actually happy, seems like a bare minimum change. Helps our opener which is nice but there's a lot of work to do to make Warlocks great again IMO.
..and so he left, with terrible power in shaking hands.
The change is an improvement, but it doesn't really have much of an impact... well, maybe WQ'ing will be slightly less annoying.
But for dungeons, how often do you spend more than 10-15sec outside of combat? Not much... and that's the impact of this change - not much. And I think that's the reason Blizzard went forward with it; because it doesn't matter much anyways.
No reason to get all excited. Tuning has still yet to occur. But don't be surprised if the tuning is no more than +5% to only a few spells...
I'm baffled how anyone can find outdoor content a problem. And I don't mean "hard" when I say problem, I mean resources - the only time I really have an issue with resources is when I'm having to pop Serv / Doomguard / Infernal which Blizzard bafflingly decided to put a SS cost on.
Maybe it's just because I keep going affliction for world content, but it's one of the least aggravating things to do as a warlock.
