Timewalking 820 ilvl

Just wondering there is no QQ thread about the incredibly low itemlevel dropping in timewalking, so I can QQ.

The base itemlevel of 820 is way too low to give any incentive to run those, apart from the cosmetic items. Considering the difficulty - that's pretty much fixed because of the lowered itemlevel and we know it from WoD minus artifact traits - it's rather on par with mythics than current heroics.
Even for equipping a new alt you can just wait for items to pop up on world quests.

Anyone agrees?

u cant put it on par with raid finder. It is ment for starter gear so 820 is fine and you forgot about titanforge and so forth. so you do get a chance at a proc.

Well, it's nearly as good as heroic dungeons. Since Mythics are not queueable it makes not sense for the Timewalking dungeons do drop better loot or loot on par with them. Also, they can be queued for as easrly as level 70.

There's a quest to run it for a bonus roll and a chest for raid items. The drops can also warforge and Titanforge.

It's also easier than heroics, unless your team doesn't know mechanics.

I don't see an issue. Slightly better than freshly dinged non upgraded world quest and dungeon gear and will help you gear up for LFR. WoD was 660 because it was introduced at the end instead of the start so they wanted to help people get into current and previous LFR as well as the 675 gear allowing you to start the lower part of HFC Normal. They also want to keep Heroic dungeons a relevant gearing path when you freshly ding as well hence why it is slightly below that. Timewalking in WoD was a catchup mechanic because it was introduced at the end, now it's a gearing up mechanic for LFR and Mythic 0 dungeons which is fine.

820 makes perfect sense. The dungeons are easy and most people should have them mastered by now. Great way to gear fresh 110s, I know my son will be chaining them all weekend to gear his fresh 790 rogue.

In WoD 660 was too low for geared players as well. Was able to provide nice filler gear to help get to HFC LFR and mythic dungeons. 820 will be a nice help for people doing heroics to get geared for mythic dungeons in legion as well.

660 and Baleful were designed as catch up mechanics nothing more. Just like Timeless Isle although imo Tanaan was worse.

Might do the event quest on two/three characters. There's the possibility of the mount of course. My alts are highly likely to get an upgrade from the chest, along with any war/titanforged drops. On my main it's for the extra seal. And I for one am going to enjoy having instant Aimed Shots again as Marksman.

Sucks that the gear is worse than heroics, but it's at least still worth doing 5 runs per character for the quest rewards.

Yes it pretty much is at bare minimum worth it for the weekly quest complete. free rereoll + raid item chest is worth doing and like timewalking in wod good for gearing up alts.

The Timewarping gear also has a chance to be Warforged, and Titanforged.

Don't think it can proc Mythic or a third stat, though. Think the items are fixed, just the item level can be raised.

Because not all content is meant to be equally attractive or viable as alternatives to Mythic or Mythic Plus, which given the scaling and arguable trivialisation of Timewalking dungeons isn't an issue.
It can receive upgrades like other Legion gear loots, so might remain attractive to alts, for badge farming, or for transmog.

From Timewalking? I doubt it.

The Legendary drops seem to have been specifically added over time during the beta to specific things.
