I hit 2000 rating on my Havoc Demon Hunter last night

I really wanted to get the elite set for my DH, so I pushed all day to hit 2k and I finally did it. I finished at 2021cr. I told my guild but they were like so? lol. I even through a video up on youtube but it's just getting a crap ton of down votes.
What rating do I have to get for people to be impressed in this game?

P.S: and tbh 2k isn't a big deal i think you don't get challenger with that rating anymore

What is a respectable rating to get in 3s? I got 2.2k+ and Duelist back in MOP but all of that is outdated and old now.

Reaching 2k rating in 2s or 3s mean's you're better than the average WoW player. The disparity between 2k-3k rating is huge. Most people don't break 2,400 ever. That is why Blizzard had to adjust the curve this past season, very few people reached gladiator status because the top rated guys were just so much higher than everyone else.

2k rating in 3s is pretty good nowadays. I see blizzcon champions on twitch struggle to beat 2k teams sometimes. Nobody PvPs anymore, 2k now would have been 2.4k or more 4 years ago.

In fact, there's a lot of former 2700 players stuck at 1800 now.

How can I try to push rating on my windwalker pandaren monk? I play horde. I mean I know how. Just find some nice people that you get along with the same skill level as you so that you can learn together, make mistakes together.

I am about 1400ish 1500ish skill level in both 2s and 3s. I guess you can say i am a scrub lol. No wait, it is true. I am a scrub.

Getting to 1800 in 2s or 3s will be an accomplishment, at least for me.

Getting to 2k+ rating, I will just stop playing WoW because I know I probably will never get any higher than that, lol.

The hardest part about PvP, the hardest part about doing arenas is ACTUALLY finding people to play with.

If it's in 2s, no one cares because DH is stupidly broken in it and 2k is slightly-above-average rating.

Same with 3s, everyone seems to be 2k in Legion, even if they look like they should be 1700 in previous expansions.

Rating doesn't impress people, get better as a player and you'll impress people.

That's pretty much everyone's reaction to you (or anyone else) getting 2k rating... I got 2k rating just by doing 10 a week casually.

I tried pushing 2k a month ago, ended at 2350. 2.4 is my next goal for enchants next season. Currently 2k+ on 3 chars though. 2k is not much, it's actually quite laughable. But don't care what others say though. Follow your goals, progress etc ^^

If I have a good healer with me I get 2k from simply 2's capping every week for most seasons. But finally got a team to do 3s with and finally WoW is exciting again! Few specs tilt me to no end but eh, there'll always be something and that's WoW.

Ok, first of all where i said i do have 2k+ actually? I dont do serious pvp since a lot of years ago, i use it to try to get many legends as possible since PvE is what im focused.

Another thing i want to tell you is i was duelist back on S2/S3 2,1k rat aprox and just 2k rat on S1 with my SL/SL lock and Rdruid(yeah Afflock on TBC LUL FACEROLL AND WIN) since then i've never did pvp with comms anymore. Away from that, are you going to tell me to reach 2k+ on 2s or 3s is something to be really proud? nowdays (more than previous expansions IMO) you just have to play the OP comp and will be there even if you are blind.

And the last thing i wanna tell you (tbh idk why im explaining this to you) if im at 1,7/1,8k rat is because, as i said i dont do serious pvp anymore just look at how many matches i've done, most of times i do fury/another dps just to do fast arenas to reach the weekly 10win and even with that, im nearly 1,8k, as a fury warr on 2s THAT'S sad and not for me.

#1 Saying youre 1800 as Fury Warrior doesnt mean shit, Fury is a pretty decent spec to play in 2s or 3s.
#2 TBC doesnt count for shit, I was 2.2 in TBC in s3/s4 shoulders and wep it was completely RNG based PvP hence why achieves start at WoTLK. You keep saying "All you have to do is play OP comp" yet youre stuck at 1800, I dont care what the excuse is, 50 percent win loss is horrid at 1800 lol. If you dont want to get shit on, dont shit on someone whos legitimately excited about the effort hes put in. The "I just get my 10 wins and dont PvP seriously anymore" is just an excuse that "rats" use to try to deflect how bad they are.

Moral of the story is, dont be toxic and ruin others excitement just because youre jealous.
