How dare people prefer fresh and new content to reused content. Just because they continually pay for a game, they suddenly think they can also expect continued quality? Entitled brats, all of them!
If collecting the amount of spider eyes made the quest out of reach to some then yes changing it to another option while keeping the original is adding content. In your example you exclude the fact that the original stuff isn't destroyed it now just has more settings/options.

I don't care about Wow 11.0, if it's not solo-MMO. No half-measures - just perfect xpack.
Still wondering why I play this game.
I'm a Rogue and I also made a spreadsheet for the Order Hall that is updated for BfA.
180$ + the game for a whole year of entertainment.
That's less than a ticket for some shows, which lasts a few hours.
The same amount of cash only gets you 3 new games on release.
Take the time you play in 1 year and buy enough new games to fill that time, the total should be close to 500$.
Sure you can argue that new games are also overpriced, but at this point, in your very close minded opinion, what is not overpriced?
I'm, all good for content being recycled, I just dislike when they copy and paste it from other games in their repertoire. Like the meteor/comet spells mage's received - both of them have practically identical animations to the spells from Diablo. Ray of Frost - didn't even change the name on that ability.
I understand that there is going to be overlap among similar genres but I'd like them to create new assets for the game else I feel like I'm paying double for the same work (obviously not an issue if you don't also own D3!).
Otherwise, I really don't mind.
Nothing wrong with it. I really enjoyed remakes of Onyxia (during wotlk), Naxx, Shadowfang. As long as its not over done.
I make $230k a year almost passively, being very young, I'm fairly certain that I can afford it. That's about 20k a month.
Edit: In a third world country that's riddled with lack of resources / money / opportunities.
WoW is overpriced, in comparison with other products.
Just do the math, how many new release games would you need to buy to fill the time you spend playing WoW?
Because that's the true math, it's not comparing WoW to ONE game, you pay for entertainment, music, shows, movies, tv series, games, etc. It's all comparable in term of duration of entertainment provided.
WoW is a lot cheaper than you think, cuz you don't think the right way, cuz yes, there is a right way of thinking and it's not yours.
