I love the peacock mounts (I think they're from MoP or WoD challenge modes?) but since CMs are no longer a thing, are there other ways to get a version of this mount or am I SOL?

The Pandaren Phoenix? There's a similar one from Ji-Kun as a rare drop. 6th boss of Throne of Thunder.

Yes, the Ji-Kun mount is the only one sharing the model and IMO it doesn't look as nice. It's a pity they are no longer available because they're my favorite mounts by far. I just love the looks of the phoenixes.

The CM mounts are no longer available and I really hope it stays that way. I put in the effort back in the day and those mounts are still somewhat rare. its nice to see other people with them and know they did the same.

Couldn't agree more with that man. Some stuff should stay as it is, locked. Showing off on some ancient rarity is feeling that beats most
