If people were selling more WoW Tokens for gold, the prices on the Auction House would drop because the supply increased.

Prices are going up because the demand for WoW Tokens is increasing faster than the supply. Why? Because Destiny 2 is now available for preorder through Battle.net.

If it were because people wanted gold to buy Heirlooms with the price of WoW Tokens would go down because the market would be flooded with them.

Nothing to with Heirlooms. Destiny 2 just came out for Pre Order through Battle.net.

So. Buy token, convert it to Battle.net balance and there you go easy game.
