really hoping they don't hold back on the blood and violence. trailer looks good but I'm not putting much stock into how it plays into the actual show. none of the Marvel Netflix shows have really gone into what I'd really consider hard R territory, so having the Punisher push that envelope makes perfect sense so again I hope they just GO for it.

Holy hell I almost didn't think it was actually going to come! I'm so hyped for this show. I'm actually really surprised they finally decided to make a Punisher series (Remember they didn't want to at first).
I mean think about it... A straight, white male protagonist and family man who uses GUNS to fight his enemies and get revenge on the ones who murdered his family??? I bet some Netflix and Marvel producers were kicking and screaming to keep that from getting greenlit.

I liked all the Netflix shoes other then Jessica jones and I like the punisher way more then any of the other characters to get shows so I'm looking forward:

I'll give them credit for One, good choice for many reasons, obviously. Anyone that hasn't seen the actual video for One, should.
I'll hold out hope that it won't have budget issues that I think has been hurting more recent MarvelFlix, since it's just guns and explosions, should be easier. That said, Punisher for me really works better in a Superhero war, otherwise it's just another vigilante. We'll see how it goes.
Still though, so dark. I don't mind dark tone, but dark settings are really starting to piss me off. I'm not tuning in to watch shadowed maybe movements, I want to actually see things happen!"I only feel two things Gary, nothing, and nothingness."

Fuck yes, I loved DareDevil S2 and after the mediocre show that was the Defenders I look forward to some gritty Punisher action.

Song choice was excellent of course; I was smiling as soon as I heard the first few guitar strums. I can't wait for this to drop. I'm hoping that this stands out from the other four...well, considering what the Punisher is, what he does and how he does it, that shouldn't be too difficult to achieve.
Kind of comes with the territory. The Punisher, by his very nature, is one of Marvel's darkest characters, if not its absolute darkest. If the show wasn't dark, it wouldn't be right. Originally Posted by Svifnymr

I think it looks decent, I always felt the character is one better suited to TV than movies. It'll be interesting to see how changing it to having the CIA kill his family will unfold in the series.

Jon Bernthal = best Punisher. Glad they went with him rather than try and "recast" after 2nd season of Daredevil (more like Darenot).
I hope the Punisher has a lot of lines he'll be delivering whilst yelling. :d
