Just thought I would share.

I sat alone in the dark one night, tuning in by remote.
I found a preacher who spoke of the light, but there was Brimstone in his throat.
He'd show me the way, according to him, in return for my personal check.
I flipped my channel back to CNN and lit another cigarette.
I had a friend who had one, when I rode as a passenger it reminded me of sitting in someone's living room in an easy chair while going down the freeway at 80mph.
I don't know why it would beat a normal passenger car other than a preference for a big vehicle. And four wheel drive is an option.

Looks good, though I sort of think the actual production version will be a bit more watered down. Maybe I'll be wrong. I'd never buy one, but I'm not their target customer with this either.

Meh, trucks are lame to me now. I am more into fast cars with a turbo. Use to love the Bronco and had a Ford Lightning after high school.
Most people I see with them in the city are just facepalm worthy. All that potential used for nothing.
I've seen uglier. Namely...
Pontiac Aztec, imo, is the worst looking vehicle ever.

You don't. Most of the type of things they advertise as "off road" will break the axles if you so much as drive through grass, let alone actual off road. It's another one of those "look at how awesome I am, I have a big truck, please sleep with me because I'm overcompensating" things. Totally useless as an actual vehicle. It's not a real truck that can actually be used as a truck, because it's too cheaply built. It's useless as a regular car because it would get gas mileage that makes the 6000 SUX look good. It's pretty much a shitty car that gets poor gas mileage and looks like a truck.
I've never known anyone that would have an actual legitimate use for a large truck. Businesses sure. Individuals? Noone I know. How many people actually NEED to haul large amounts of cargo around constantly and tow things? Maybe if you own a construction or tow truck business. But even if you did, you wouldn't use an abomination like that, you'd use a real truck. As for myself, I walk to work, and I have a 3 year old Prius that only has 8000 miles on it. I don't drive much, except for grocery shopping and the occasional trip somewhere, or if I need to go somewhere across town.

FYI that isn't the new Bronco.

Almost there. Think it could've been a little bit sharper but still sexy.

It's interesting that they seem to have discontinued the Bronco shortly after the OJ trial when a lot of people thought he was innocent, but they reintroduce it shortly after he is released from jail and almost everyone thinks he got away with murder. The Bronco will always be associated with that event.
I kind of like it, but if I do get one I'll wait ~4-5 years and snag a used one in good shape; I'm not all about buying new cars.
EDIT: Googled the price and they're estimating $30k-$45k new, so I'll definitely pass at that price range.
