Blizzard just found the best way to buff Holy paladins...

They start talking about nerfing others....

WOTLK hits with no changes to paladins

3-4 weeks later they revert the talked about nerfs and say they will fix palas

Then 5 months later holy paladins realise that nothing has been done.

Then Blizzard says we fix it in next expansion cause it is soooo broken...

It's called CARROT ON A STICK - Its what Blizzard does BEST when it comes to paladins.

With the fixes to Ret, I'm certainly back to stay, for good. (I can live with +2K DPS and being in the top of the middle pack for DPS.)

iv never seen a resto shaman / druid complain that they cant do competent raid dps because its just fucking rediculous
so why do holy palas ( the build made for healing ) think they deserve to be able to heal and dps =/ its fucking beyond me and iv been a pala since vanilla wow

Sure, there's still lots to do there. I have no trouble waiting a bit longer til I go to Northrend. I can still continue doing quests that I haven't done, I can farm more achievement points, I can continue farming gold/rep/etc...

Holy Paladin's got a huge buff, you just haven't seen it yet unless you were in Beta.

It's called Sacred Shield, think Prayer of Mending + Power Word: Shield minus the Weakened Soul, that's our new skill. In Blue PVP gear is was absorbing 1,100ish every 6 seconds. It only costs a little more than a Flash of Light if I remeber correctly and can be applied to any number of targets and has no cool down.

Couple this with spec'ing into Prot for PvP: Macro Hand of Sacrifice to Divine Shield and your partner is now only taking 40% damage for the next 12 seconds while you are Immune.

Or add it in with Ret, the extra 8% spell crit, it's a HUGE deal.

Holy Paladin healing is fun now.

PS: Holy Shock going from a 15 second to 6 second CD is also a massive change in PvP and PvE. We did get buffed. Alot.

Since the patch 3.0.2 and 3.0.3 i have lost only to enchant shaman who was Tier6 geared. Our class can finallly win (if your skilled) from those classes who require no skill to beat us before patch.

Since of today i have specced Protect because i liked to try something else, and did two heriocs and both we easily manage to complete without any problems.

Well haven't specced Holy to try and wont be doing it because protect rocks, but only thing i do know that Holy pally's really suck when it comes to AoE fights and Beacon of light and the glyph aint really the solution. But beside that think Pally's are solide healers the ones when it comes to AoE fights
But tbh let holy pally's suck for a while like protect and retri did for a while

You do realise that holy paladins don't want raid competent dps, right?

They want dps that enables them to comfortably sololevel and do dailies. They currently have neither.

Actually, I am continuing to pay for the same content I've paid for this far too. And if I get bored I can either buy Wotlk or quit.

I'm sure resto druids and shamans would've reacted the same way if almost all of their offensive spells had half spell power - half attack power coef.

As a matter of fact, you probably would've whined a lot more.
