I for one wouldn't be able to DPS well at all if I couldn't see my current gold during combat.
Yup. When I occasionally pretend to be a healer, the area above the Target/TargetTarget/TargetCastframe area is taken up by the whack-a-mole Grid2.
99% of the time I don't care about seeing every single buff/debuff, the big ones are covered by Broker_ConsolidatedBuffs. I check for 9/9 before responding to a Ready Check. Then I have long personal buffs in the top right.
The main in-combat display consists of 3 Raven groups.
1: Short buffs - Bars - All buffs cast by player/pet with a duration of less than 3:00, parented and anchored to the player frame
1: target buffs/debuffs - Bars - All buffs/debuffs cast by player/pet, parented to the target frame and anchored to the player frame
3: debuffs - Icons - All debuffs on player, 32px icons in the center of the screen slightly above the player.
