    new totem ideas

    Bored at work

    Chaos totem

    Counts as all elements(once this totem is dropped it would cancel out all other totems that you have down.)
    When summoned chaos totem randomly picks one of the four elements. This totem effects all players. (Maybe only pvp enabled and/or grouped?)
    Fire - A flame wreath type effect drops on everyone in a ten yard radius.
    water - aoe typhoon pushes all players caught with in the radius to be pushed back taking 1000 damage.
    air - cyclone randomly cyclones two players with in the ten yard radius.
    earth - randomly increases or decreases healing by 50% on all players caught in the radius.

    U must have a really crappy job... if u would bring such bad idea's at ur job, u wouldnt have had it for long :S

    And when a pet stomps it, it should shoot out confetti and candy.

    Totemic Call *Changed*: 30sec-1min CD, teleports all the totems in 30 yards arround shaman to caster's feet and refreshes their duration .Spell cost:10%(6%/8%?) of base mana.

    That would be more reasonable buff to archaic totem system, especially in fights where we have to move a lot. Many would agree that other classes have buffing way easier both for pve and pvp, not every buff is dispellable now while totem can be easily targeted by anyone in pvp and 1shotted, so at least having this change in totemic call might help not worrying about getting out of range from them in arena or other pvp situation. 30sec-1min CD on it wouldn't let abuse it too much. Don't know- just a quick thought of mine, especially when current function of totemic call isn't that important, mana back from totems compared to imp SS, UR is pathetic, tell me what do you think or "polish" numbers in it to not to be too weak or OP if u feel like it.

    Blizzard won't do this because it requires them to actually do some work and implement new tech, which in Blizzards case takes too long to do.

    Same with the new bear and cat forms, great they got retextured and a slight poly upgrade. Something that is expected from an intern. Now how about a much, MUCH needed update to player models, which where made in like... 2003/4. It's really not hard for Blizzard to do, and I find it hard to believe they can't commit about 2 weeks of work to do it.

    Quite sad really, they really have us by the balls.

    I just thought of an idea. They should put windsock on a totem insted of on the shaman.

    Have the totem cast it on anyone who is not casting an instent spell. this would allow shaman to use there other shocks spells..

    They're keeping in mind that a majority of players don't have new computers, or custom built ones. Upgraded player models would give those player even less fps.

    Gameplay > graphics, but it seems like Activision - Blizzard just wants to milk this game till it's dry.

    Quitting the fail that WoW has become when Aion comes out. No point to play hardcore when any idiot can have the same gear as you.

    A Totem that works similar to grounding, except it absorbs a certain amount of healing, or the next heal. ( I prefer the first because I dislikes druids the most atm) :] I guess it could fit as a earth or air totem.

    shamans should just get a buff when a totem is destroyed
    Fire: makes your next lava burst instant and cost no mana
    Water: restores 10-20% of your base mana
    Earth: shields you for 25/50% of your base health
    Wind: 20% movement and haste for the next 15-30sec
    just ideas if they not gonna take totem stomping macros out might as well give us buffs

    It takes a little longer than 2 weeks to completely redesign a few dozen models from the ground up, assuming you don't want them just to do a "slight poly upgrade" on them. And if they were to complete it, people would complain that they should be spending their time on something else, that the models were fine as they were, that the new models lag their computers and/or the new models look worse than before.


    As for the random totem; Random numbers have been a very old friend to Shamans (Enhancement especially), but there comes a point where you have to accept that it's just not that great. I'd much prefer knowing that I'll (for example) get a knockback when there's two melee chewing on my face, instead of just decreasing the amount of healing they'd do.

    How about give Windfury a 100% procc chance on hit, and it has no internal cooldown! I would like it :d And make it so it proccs of windfury proccs, it wouldn't be OP at all!
    but eh more serious, I like some ideas though they are somewhat OP

    heh i think whoule world would reroll ench shaman.... not just that... it would also do about 100k dps (just after 10 sec) lol

    good idea, but terrible ideas
    Currently writing the Shaman Manifesto. Will include QQ, e-peen blazes, nerfs, and lightning. God damn i love lightning.
