Hey, this post is all about posting screenshots from the old AV, before all the nerfs that made it last less time than it did back in the days, where Ice Lord still existed, where there was a boos in the middle of The Field of Strife, where there were kobolds caves or something like that behind Stoneheart/Iceblood, where alliance yelled GATHER AT SH HILL CHARGE IB! Where you had 3000 HKs in just one AV...all the stuff that makes us nostalgic and miss the old AV.

I'll post my own when i get to my pc where i have the pics.

Old AV was the last thing real fun in PvP. It was ... Epic. Blizzard failed to understand that behind X players whining about the way AV was, there was X*5 players loving it.

I remember those old days and I had the same problem, virus on the comp and had to kill the drive =(
But what I managed to do was going in after school on friday, go to sleep at 10 in the evening, waking up, eating and doing my chores and login just to end up in the same AV I left, being there all day and sleep during night. And what do you know, still the same on saturday. Think the longest I have seen was 1 week, the same battle :P

And I remember the old time when you could survive a rogue stun, when you infact could hit someone with that weapon of yours and still have a small chance even without any mana
When you summoned those Frostwolf Riders and everything. Good old days...

I have a 60 twink, and still do av weekly, but it's defenatly not the same anymore.. the biggest change were deathknights that just got out of their starter quests...

Aw, I miss old AV. I used to have a ton of old screen shots of stuff but I had the same issue where my HD crashed and I lost everything :-\
