Hit Cap(to cap)> SP> crit/haste(approx 50% of SP for each [fight depending])

Depending on the makeup of your raid, your hit cap may vary. Generally, the Spriest hit cap is 289 with shadow focus + misery. 263 with a Draenai in the party. Both of your stats have you over the general hit cap, so there is room for improvement.

That being said, the extra 18SP in set-up1 isnt going to make up for the loss of crit & haste in set-up2.

If you've gemmed HR at all, dump a gem for a SP gem and that'll make up the difference.

Hands down. often www.shadowpriest.com has the answer for this as you can check which piece of gear is superior to others. I havn't used Rawr myself, but if it's as good as Jbeezy says, it might be worth a shot as well.

I'd vote 2nd one ... but mate if those stats are unbuffed ( which means close to BiS gear ) and u still have that question then there is a prob
but yeh 2nd 1 is better due to the more haste / crit , less overcaped at hit and 20 spell power differance is nothing

I'm not sure I would 100% trust rawr for shadow priests... currently rawr is telling me to gem for haste and use some items that are clearly not that great.

I would become familiar with PP values and the best raid gear thread at www.shadowpriest.com and use as spreadsheet to plan a gear set. Some people like to apply a crit bias, some prefer to go with the highest PP set they can get access to. In the end you are better off making the choice and understand your choices than letting a program do it for you. I use rawr as a resource but it's not something I trust implicity.
