    Any "real" lore regarding warriors?

    Hey guys.

The thing is, my main is a warrior and I love lore and all that stuff. There's a lot about classes like, Mage and Paladin but almost nothing about the warrior? Correct me if i'm wrong but most of it is just the "regular soldier" kinda guy ****ty lore if you ask me .... I've always been thinking of myself as a Kratos (God of War) kinda guy since we focus so much on rage and all that stuff.

What do you think? If you have anything about Warrior lore i'd really like to see if or anything

    /discuss

You're just a pawn in the world (of Warcraft) to assist the real heroes of Azeroth, duh.

Wars are won by "regular soldiers"

I'm not going to touch the whole "Kratos" thing, but if you want to see an amazing example of a warrior check out Lothar. Broxigar is a great example from the Horde PoV.

Soooooo basicly, we're our own? We have our completely own individual story? Not bound by anything like for instance paladins/DK's ...

Each warrior is diffrent and you just have to use your "imagination" ? lol -.-

That's the problem, no one wants to be a regular soldier .... Being a for instance regular Paladin is something else, it's like being a Jedi Knight(just an example)

We have no purpose .... See where i'm going?

Look at all the cool commanders and characters that is considered warriors, and I would disagree with you. For example Broxigar, he is the only mortal EVER to wound Sargeras.

Re: Any "real" lore regarding warriors?

Quote from Wowikki: "As long as war is waged on Azeroth, there will be men and women who fight those wars. The warrior is no mere sword-swinger; they are skilled combatants, combining strength of arm, knowledge of weaponry and practiced maneuvers to slice or bludgeon their foes into little red bits. The warrior is the most versatile of the combat classes, and they supplement their fighting prowess with the ability to rally their allies and spur them to victory, but not only can they rally their allies into victory; they can themselves charge into the heart of the battle, take several lives and live to tell the tale. All races fight, and all races boast many warriors in their ranks. Warriors are common among dwarves, Forsaken, humans, and orcs, but are less so among the other races. Masters of swords, spears, and weapons of all kinds, warriors share a common way of life on Azeroth. Using their abilities to deal pain and cause bloodshed, warriors are deadly adversaries and welcome friends in violent times (which seem to be all the time in recent decades).[1] Warriors have existed in every race, from the murlocs to the tauren. Anyone willing to take up arms to defend their people can be classed as a warrior. A knight is the warrior elite among humans."

See that last bit? That's the problem .....

Re: Any "real" lore regarding warriors?

Think of Warriors as elite super-soldiers.
Meanwhile, back on Azeroth, the overwhelming majority of the orcs languished in internment camps. One Orc had a dream. A dream to reunite the disparate souls trapped under the lock and key of the Alliance. So he raided the internment camps, freeing those orcs that he could, and reached out to a downtrodden tribe of trolls to aid him in rebuilding a Horde where orcs could live free of the humans who defeated them so long ago. That orc's name was... Rend.
