I apologize for not understanding the question. :P

Ya gotta forgive me, it's been AGES since I've played WC1 or 2, and I don't remember a lick of the story, just that it mostly seemed to me to be: pick a side, do some battles, win the game. I was a bit young back then, and spent more time clicking the units multiple times to hear funny things rather than listen to the plot.

Really? >> No, it wasn't. Look, the guy is not talking about "world of warcraft 2." He is merely suggesting that there's a lot of similarities between the Cataclysm expansion, and the Warcraft 2 game. By similarities, he doesn't mean playstyle. He means world events, factions, wars, etc.

I'd go through the explanation again, but it's been done, either he's blatantly ignoring the truth, or he's incapable of understanding it. In neither case would another iteration of the facts help.

As far as the OP's point; as regards the horde, yeah, it does seem like they're revering back towards the horde of WC2. I hope they either stop and reverse course, or go all the way. None of this "We're mostly evil but not really, claim that we're not, and still try to justify our actions" crap. Either give Garrosh the boot, keep thrall, and fully embrace the ways of the new horde... or go all the way back and become the bloodthirsty war-driven psychopaths of the first + seconds wars. One or the other; the former provides more interesting story opportunities, the later removes all need for pretense and lets everyone say "we're at war, let's just do this thing".
