late 2010 to early 2011. we really have no clue, BLIZZARD THEMSELVES will not know when cataclysm comes out until they finish and post a specific release date.

I would say late November this year. They have been taking servers offline for 24hours to prepare them for Cataclysm, I would really doubt they'd do that if we were still over 6 months away.

Judging by the insanely unfinished Beta, Activision probably wants Nov 2010, Blizzard probably wants 2011.
They could get the game to be functional by November, but the world will lack the polish and flare you saw in Northrend.

How are they "rushing cata for Christmas 2010"? They just introduced a fairly decently sized overhaul of the talent system.
