Fairly close vote just now, heh.

Anyhoo - I voted yeah. I've never turned my in-game music off. If I'm in a zone with crap music, I just listen to my own music on the laptop through my headset. (I run WoW on my PC, and web browser/vent/music on the Laptop, so I have this luxury.)

The music never bothered me until I got some TurtleBeach headphones for Christmas and everything sounds beautiful on those. Totally immersive. Also the mic is so clear that people can actually understand my Geordie accent on vent :P

Not since like day 3. I might turn it on for 5 minutes when entering a new area, but then I'll just go back to my mp3 playlists.

Depends on what I am doing. PvP'ing I use my own music, PvE I use ingame music, leveling in new areas it is always ingame music.
Old content I use my own music usually.

Though latly I have started a alliance char leveling project, and have decided to use ingame music for that.

I couldn't agree more and glad to see someone else knows whats up.

I stay away from the other music, I read in a blue post that they are gonna replace the entire soundtrack with Lady GaGa come cataclysm. I'll be all over the in-game music when that happens

I used to play with it on, but it all seemed like completely generic, overworld, fantasy music. Oblivion has very nice overworld music, but WoW. Meh. Nothing is memorable that I have heard except for the log in menu.

Hehe oblivion was a great game !

But wow does have SOME decent music. Storm peaks is ok and Ice crown is pretty creepy. But yeah alot of it is bland , most notably vanilla content.

    Hell yes.

I've not had in-game music on since I first started the game in 2005. I prefer having my own music for background noise.

Depends for me on my mood.
Usually playing with sum soundtracks from Jeremy Soule or Inon Zur though.

I personally only play with the ingame sounds/music on when im in ICC, outside of raiding in general i play my own music instead.

Haven't had the music on since I started playing. It's not that I don't like it, but it gets really repetitive when it starts playing the same thing over and over.

All on, even character ability error.
As always, apparently the one thing you can do in a duel that isn't cheating... is lose.

    Van Halen>In Game Music

Yes but only in zones where the atmosphere and music are awesome so thats just Grizzly hills (Which in my opinion has the best in game music in any zone I've played in inside of any game in 28 years of gaming) and Howling Fjord.
