    World of Warcraft, not...

I hate when people say dangit why can't the horde and alliance be friends

    ...

    it's called world of warcraft

so i'm so glad that we have Varian and Garrosh

two men who hate the other

i'm so glad that we don't got the panseys making up the lore or it would end up like

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6WQnftJrGA

the creators made WoW and implemented this expansion for a reason, WAR...

if you don't like it go back to your pansey final fantasy games

if anyone else agree's that this game is ment for War, and not World of Teletubbies

    leave something :]

    we don't want sissycraft

War can happen between more than one set of factions.

I agree. It wouldn't be Warcraft without hostility between the Horde and Alliance.

How many wars on Earth have been between the exact same two factions every single time?

Hell, humanity would probably band together to fight an extraterrestrial threat if there ever was one.

Because their message is, that if we work together, things will work out. Kinda like in the real world.

Never said it would, did I? I just think the whole "If Alliance and Horde don't hate each other there's no war!" argument is retarded.

Heres a reality check for you war loving fanboyz.

The concepts of war in warcraft is based on more then one factor. This game was still world of Warcraft in the burning crusade, when horde and alliance didn't hardly fight at all. It was Warcraft in neutal cities like shattrath and dalaran, and it was warcraft when your character sided with enutral factions to fight the burning legion, or the old gods, or the lich king.

And heres something you probably never thought of. The concepts of war in warcraft is laughable, because the story is set on two sides of equal and opposite faction. No side is worse then the other now, unlike in the first and second wars, now both horde and alliance are equal and opposite.

And with that fact, this means that neither faction will ever win in a war faught, they will always be at stalemate, and always repeating the same thing. The only means to progress it, is for bitter rivalry to break down, which is more then likely what will happen with wow comes to an end.

You can pretend all you want that wow is a nazi vs ally forces style game, but your kidding yourself, and for that your gonna be disappointed

The Allies and the Axis Powers were two factions of humanity that were conflicting in some way. Not physical war mind you, but there was friction.

And the Horde and Alliance have teamed to fight other threats, and there have been other wars in Warcraft. The horde and alliance conflict, is just the main conflict.

    But Azeroth isn't Earth.

I understand war between the horde and alliance, but it's just childish to hate some IRL, or even over the internet because they don't play your faction. That's mostly what people are griping about.

Yeah, I knew that the Allies versus the Axis would come up if I used that argument, but the World Wars were only a small conflict on the scale of human history.

Sorry, but OP, its obvious the reason you like Garrosh and Varian so much is cause you have a very short and narrow view of the lore.

Although I doubt it since Hyjal is not an Alliance zone and they are both quest givers.
