Tell me why I should come back to WoW for Catalysm?

Can someone please give me some reasons why?

My experience in WoW is...

Vanilla - Raiding/BG's (cleared everything except 40m Naxx)
TBC - Raiding/Arena (cleared everything months before pre3.0 nerf)
WOTLK - Raiding/Arena (cleared everything within a week until guild disbanded due to bordem)

My current situation is...

I haven't played WoW in over a year...
I don't like having alts, I've always stuck to one character...
Out of the 20'ish people I know that played WoW once upon a time with me do not play anymore, maybe a few do, but thats it...
I don't want to play the game like I use to (hardcore raiding, just don't have the patients or determination for it like I use to)

Judging by this I can't honestly see me playing Catalysm even being worth it, unless there is something I am messing? I don't feel like paying $15 a month for something I am barely going to use, unless?

Everything that was available in the first few weeks of WOTLK that is. Everyone was burnt out from TBC raiding and after WOTLK came in and everyone cleared everything straight away a lot of people pretty much gradually stopped playing due to bordem.

I am just looking for a few reasons as to why I should come back and play Catalysm. I am out of the WoW loop and I don't understand or have forgotten most of WoW terminology so I need a little heads up. Watching the BETA video 30minute commentary's get quite boring to watch.

You have no reason that we could give, the game is in beta, browse the site, see if it looks good, then pick it up if you have the money to spare, if not wait it out for KOTOR online, until then, keep an eye out and decide for yourself

Where is this rage coming from? when the hell did I say anything bad about WOTLK? Why are you nerds so defensive over an expansion? I only played the first month or 2 of WOTLK and it got boring for a lot of people...sorry not everyone can sit in 1 spot raiding naxx over and over and over and over for 6 months until a new content patch was released.

I played a Mage so I actually LIKED WOTLK changes...dunno where I come off as being a WOTLK hater here though.

I wouldn't want to bore you with boring details about boring things. Let's just sit around and proclaim how jaded we are towards things that bore us.

cata will bring boring worgens, and boring goblins, with amazing top notch well scripted boring starting zones. Then the whole world gets extra boring when world flying gets implemented. not to mention boring new class ability's, spells, changes, and revamps.
