May I be the first one to say it, but AWESOME DKs able to steal shadowform (which lasts until cancelled might I add) is pretty crazy. 15% less damage taken and 30% less threat and 20% more shadow damage just PERFECT boost to a dks strikes and diseases. Well in cataclysm I am totally going to make sure I duel a shadow preist before every raid ;D

To be perfectly honest, I would imagine that's not going live. It'll probably be restricted to directly targeted 'hostile' spells.

Nop, in 8 the first NON AoE spell wich the objective does, will be copied and you can use that AND ONLY 1 (no repetable)

this spell is awesome. I can copy shadowform,lock pets,mirror images, heals (even i had instant heal from priest for 18 sec - ~7k heal per GCD)

Copying heals sounds like a very awesome potential use for the spell, and something that may actually stay in, unlike copying shadowform... as awesome as that is.

You got it reversed. Blizzard said that it will have only limited use on non-player spells as they don't want us casting boss spells. Check the tooltip. It's mainly meant for PvP.

Any chance we can get a video of this spell soon? Would be cool to see it in action with maybe commentary on it, hopefully a good long video with a lot of different examples of it being used.

Shadowform and pets, as well as any other stance/pet summon type spells will most likely not make is live, I expect it to be restricted to offensive, defensive spell casts, and perhaps cds.

I hope you can copy heals with this spell, that would be awesome. Even if it is restricted to abilities that you must target someone with, if it is restricted to only spells with a mana cost that require a target, I think this could shape up to be a very diverse ability with respect to strategy. Imagine copying a greater healing wave off that Shaman right before you silence him, and then slam it on your DPS buddy in an arena to save his life, and proceed to win because you pulled off that awesomeness. COOL!
