Worgen Female model a potential fake.

They used a texture overlay on a draenei model.
The ears aren't attached to model, you can obviously tell by the hips that this is indeed a Draenei model. They just removed the tail and blew up the chest. I'm perhaps in denial but currently I assume this is a push by Blizzard to perhaps divert attention that the true female worgen model is indeed unfinished.

well i have seen the similarities as well. but apart from the buggy ears i kinda like it.
and look on the bright side if its rly draenei skin u might get both furry and waggle.

I think they are still iterating on the model. And yes, they are probably building on the structure of the female draenei to start with, because they want them to end up with a similar shape in the legs , even though their animations and stance will likely change a lot.

Beta is beta. You can't even actually play female Worgen yet. It's obviously a work in progress.

I hope it's just a placeholder, but that possibility is still rather depressing. They've been working on the female model for a loooooooong time, and this is what we get? Still too early to say, but it doesn't give me much hope that their art department can get it done.

Maybe they have a couple of different "final" models/skins that they're testing and this is just the first one to gauge interest...?

Honestly I don't mind the model, the chest is a bit large but meh. I just don't want to have to find a paper bag just to play one if I ever went alliance again.

The way you worded your original post came across as though the one and only screen shot we have of the most recent female model is the final product. It was probably not your intention to come across that way, but you did. Many things in beta are still not finished, that should be obvious. There are still many clipping issues with various models and still some models that are placeholders for others. Hence the reason I made my post the way I did.

As for post count, I don't see why that even matters. Is there some sort of cash prize for having the highest? If not, why bring it up?

It's a game aimed at mostly male teen and mid 20's. Yes, that's what I expect.

Yes, your probably right, seeing as they havn't even set the worgen into the normal worgen background with a human behind. But it's probably implented, so they won't hear from the people where the model is.

Clearly isn't completely finished, but you shouldn't expect it to be "hot".. you also shouldn't complain if you dont find a female wolf in a game attractive, time to re-evaluate life i think there, champ.
