I'm not usually the guy to QQ, but the removal of the portals has to be dumbest thing they've done with this new expansion. They've made getting around a giant pain in the ass again. I'm not going to take 15-20 minutes to get to the other side of azeroth, or pay some opportunistic mage 50g just to get around, fuck that shit.

I've yet to really see why, after they add class trainers and (most likely) AH's to Shatt and Dalaran, you would need portals to the major cities again.

Honestly of all the QQ-worthy changes in Cataclym, this ranks really low.

if this trent catches on I guess I shall have to charge to heal in dungeons tank in dungeons.. or mayb I should charge to use a pet more benefitial to the raid instead of using the ones I like : D

He is not saying that he will charge for created food or drink, charge to cc something, charge to cast a FB or Ice Block...which is what your...analogy...is suggesting.

A better example would be if you were a priest and standing in Org charging for your Stam or Spirit buff, or a Pally charging for his Blessings, etc. The portal is not needed for you to do a dungeon properly...it is just a convenience to get from Point A to Point B very fast.

When I play a mage, I tend to charge based on your level... If you're 15 looking for a port to UC from Org, I'd probably do it for free if you ask nicely...
