I bet he hasn't played Ret before- which means the new system is doing its job of separating the good and bad players.

It's very apparent they have never played or spec'd Ret because of how confused they are about abilities alone.

I don't mind the prospect of a new rotation, and i do like the actual system we have (mostly), but what i don't like is how now when we have legitimate issues with either DPS or PVP, that people are just going to fall back on this and use it against us by saying "lol another FOTM reroller who can't faceroll anymore so there must be a problem. Working as intended"


I shouldn't let things like this get to me i know, but the sheer rage i feel at just thinking about it, let alone the idea that the devs may also think something along those lines when addressing the issues is quite amazing

They [The Devs} are taking a more passive approach to balancing Ret- We will most likely go into Cataclysm, and possibly the first Raid and PvP tier, underpowered or out mechanic-ed, which will be fixed in either the next major patch or a smaller patch after that.

This game is easy, if you're a quality player you will be a quality player no matter what class/spec you play. I hate Holy Wrath being a filler and I still feel this is where the issue is. This entire time they have preached we don't want you using an AE ability on single target bosses and what do they do? Make us use an AE ability on single target fights.

They could have just added one more ability so Cons/HW/DS were AE with Cons mainly being a tank ability and HW/DS were DPS AE Abilities.

Haven't we gone through that enough though where things are really out of whack and imbalanced to just wait for more patches? I mean they'd really have to screw up to bring back the 3.0 debacle. Are they using the idea that they've been doing that with us for as long as WoW has been out so what's another patch? I'd really like to believe that they'd be better than that, course then again these are the same people that said after they nerfed our dmg if things were bad in pvp they'd give the utility, something that never happened. And things were pretty bad in arenas.
