    RIP Seal of Command

Is anyone else sad about seeing SoComm going away =( From it's glory days in Vanilla as a chance on hit wtfpwn proc up till live where it's our go to choice for AoE cleaving, i am sad to see it go and it will be missed. Let us have a moment of silence for this amazing seal...

Same talent name, diffent thing.Read the tootips before you post. The seal of command as a seal buff is gone.
The new talent is called "sealf of command" not "seal of command".

Because Seal of Command was so great when it DIDNT proc and crit right?

Not enough of a clear angle for a troll to take, so I'm guessing OP is just a bit stoopid.

Its different. Its SoR hitting multiple targets instead of SoC.

A pretty poor way to deal with the Seal. You lose your single target direct damage seal to pick up a cleave effect.

It is essentially the same thing though. I understand it isn't word for word the same but it is the jist of the old talent.

I will not miss SoCoom or SoCasino like it used to be called. Hated to use it while leveling back in early TBC due to the RNG.
But I still miss Seal of the Martyr

It might have been because I was always Prot, from level 10 - 80... but ...
Seal of Command in Vanilla? Sure we had it, a little later, but it wasn't used as a cleave, was it? It was much different, you used it to do similar damage to Righteousness but less often, and judged when the target was stunned for double damage...

It isn't really a famous or Iconic paladin ability, like, say, Divine Intervention, and never really satisfied everyone, so no, this is a change I wont miss.

Its not the same.Currently the paladin has Seal of Command,Wisdom,Light,Justice,Veng./Corruption,Righteousness.
With the new patch it will have Seal of Truth,Insight,Righteousness,Justice.
Check now and tell me what is missing. Its seal of command like other seals that are getting removed.
When you will specc to ''Seals of Command" you wont gain the seal of command cause its been removed.

Not really been a casino seal for some time but back then, yeah good times. Cant say i will miss it as much asi miss the old old windfury. But sure it had its time and worked pretty well in the end as a cleave seal, better than on ptr atm. But i think it will get better, atleast its easy to tweek in minor patches.

I hate to say it but: Same shit, different name.

Now SoR will do SoC's job, or perhaps better?

Oh c'mon don't tell me when it DID proc back in vanilla and you 1 or 2 shotted clothies you didn't feel amazing. That was the only thing we had back in vanilla for PvP so as flawed as it is i still liked it. No the OP isn't stupid i've been playing since Vanilla and have over 140 days /played on my pally and have been thru every up and down this class has seen. I'm quite unclear as to how my comment could have been taken as "trolling". Moving on...

As far as "Seals of Command" being the same as SoComm, not quite. I understand we're not supposed to be AoEing things that much anymore but if you think that talent is anywhere close to what the type of damage SoComm puts out then clearly you haven't played beta or PTR. That talent is a joke and the only reason people take it is for filler points.

SoR hits for a little more but cant crit.
The whole discussion was to make ppl understand that Seal of Command as an ability is removed cause they couldnt understand it.

If you don't like RNG, you won't like the new Ret design.... at all.

No, seal damage is really low on beta, and Righteousness still can't crit (though the command proc from it can). There won't be any more 16k dps by aoeing the bajeezus out of a heroic anymore.

It was pretty nuts back in vanilla. If you got the proc and it crit, you would devastate whoever you hit with it lol. It is iconic. You must have not played in vanilla at all lol. Its just about as iconic as Reck Bombing.

I know, I had just one Ret pally friend, all others were holy =?
He could destroy stuff... in PvP at least.
But I don't remember it doing aoe damage in Vanilla...

It's supposed to be low, it got nerfed because they want classes to do less passive dmg(poisions/seals).

And perhaps the crit part can be fixed?
